A race against time to save Vulcan XH558

On Sunday 22nd February, Robert and Steven Lowe, father and son from Newark on Trent will be joined by Crew Chief Taff Stone on a 24 hour Vulcan marathon.

The 'Scramble' will begin at East Fortune with Vulcun XM597 at 00.01 hours and the team will travel the length and breadth of the country, visiting all 15 existing Vulcan airframes – hopefully within a 24 hour period.

They will be joined on different legs by surprise guests and staged events to encourage them on their way.

XH558 faces grounding forever unless an additional £750,000 can be raised during February providing funds for another full air show season.

Last year, she appeared in front of over 1.5 million people following a 15 year £7 Million restoration.

A Vulcan To The Sky team will be at the East Midlands Aeropark during the day when you will be able to ask questions get gifts etc. the team visiting all the sites will be arriving at the Aeropark at about 12.50 if all is going to plan.

Please come and support this Iconic Aircraft.
