Auster's set to converge on Museum of Army Flying
 Armed Forces Day is an opportunity for the nation to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community - those currently serving abroad with families waiting back at home, new recruits and veterans.
On Sunday June 21 st the Museum of Army Flying at Middle Wallop celebrates the day with an "Auster Fly In". These small reconnaissance aircraft were flown by pilots of the Royal Artillery from 1939 until 1970. They operated in theatres from Burma to Malaya, to North West Europe and as far afield as Antarctica and Australia. Over 70 of these planes will be flying in to visit the Museum.
Also around will be Military Vehicles, Hot Air Balloon & end of the day display by the Historic Flight.Refreshments and childrens' activities plus 'Elvis is in the building' - in uniform and singing hits of the 40's and 50's!
