Half term Search and Rescue at Cosford

This half term (26-29 May), the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford invites all children over 5 to join in a free and exciting activity in which both they and their friends will become active participants in an air sea rescue and discover how the Royal Air Force mounts such operations in hazardous conditions.

In each session children will be able to experience what it is really like to be marooned in a life raft and will learn various survival techniques, in the raft, with their fellow crew members.

Sessions are at 11:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 15:00 each day and last approximately 30 minutes. All that we ask is that you report to the Admissions Desk, located in the Visitor Centre, 10 minutes before each session to avoid disappointment, maximum of 20 participants in each session.

Please note, younger children will need to be accompanied by an adult but are welcome to participate in this experience.

The Museum is open daily from 10am to 6pm with last admission 5pm.  Entry to the event and to the rest of the Museum site is FREE.  Parking is also FREE. For further information please contact the Museum on 01902 376200 or visit: www.rafmuseum.org.
