Aviation museum could open at former RAF Coltishall

An aeropark featuring an aviation museum or an eco-friendly business park could open at a former Norfolk airbase, plans have revealed.
RAF Coltishall is already home to HMP Bure, a prison housing 500 offenders. The two options for the base have been unveiled by the Ministry of Justice. Plans for the site are being displayed in a public exhibition at RAF Coltishall.
A spokesman said: "The Ministry of Justice appointed planning consultants to undertake this task, and at a workshop held in August 2009 a number of options were put forward and discussed with local councillors and members of the Coltishall Task Group."
