Stories of bravery, endurance and escape
Five Military Museums have been working with the Exhibition Manager from Hampshire County Museums Service to develop a mini travelling exhibition on Prisoners of War.
This new exhibition looks at the lives of prisoners of war from World War 1 right up to the Iraq War. Focusing on a poignant selection of real stories, it looks at the escape from Colditz as well as the reality of life in a Japanese Prisoner of War camp. The exhibition brings the stories to life with talking books, real artefacts and photographs from a number of international conflicts.
The Museum of Army Flying at Middle Wallop is proud to be able to present this Exhibition to the public from November 17th to December 24th
