Santa's plane lands at YAM

Thanks to friends at Full Sutton Flying Club, Santa will once again be flying in to visit children aboard his airliner Grotto at the Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington, on the 12-13 and 19 - 23 December.

Capture the essence of a fun filled family Christmas as you join the Elvington Elves to build up the excitement for Santa's arrival at 11am, having flown in from the North Pole!

Santa has swapped his traditional sleigh for an aeroplane as he makes his pre-Christmas visits, so we need to make lots of noise for Santa's pilot to home in on and find his way. Once Santa has safely landed, he will be transported to the museum on a huge airport Fire Engine, which will pull up right in front of the cheering children.  Santa will then board his magical Airliner Grotto, where everybody will get to see him and the children get a special present.

Due to limited numbers available, early booking is essential and tickets are already available now priced at just £6 Adult and £5 Children (under 12).

Tickets include full admission to the Museum and gates open at 10am, closing at 3.30pm. But don't forget that Santa arrives at 11am!

All proceeds support the Allied Air Forces Memorial - Reg. Charity 516766.

To book, please ring the Museum Shop on 01904 608719 or 01904 608595 for general information.
