ATA to be commemorated at Duxford

Closing the UK's air show season, IWM Duxford's Autumn Air Show features superb modern and historic aircraft in an array of aerobatics and stunning displays.

The Air Show will present a historic commemoration of the role of female pilots of the Air Transport Auxiliary (ATA) with what is believed to be the first simultaneous flight by female Spitfire and Hurricane pilots since July 1945.

Other highlights include the Belgian Air Force F-16 and The Blades, comprised of pilots who were formerly with The Red Arrows, flying the ultimate in high-performance piston aircraft.
